Neval Birol é artista de vidro e cerâmica com base em Portugal, com raízes na Turquia. Trabalha com a técnica de lampwork — moldando vidro com chama —, criando formas orgânicas que evocam a natureza, o corpo feminino e a memória.

Cada peça é única, nascida do impulso e da intuição. A sua marca, Hgo Glassart, une a precisão do fogo com a liberdade da forma.

Neval's path into glass was never planned. Trained as an urban planner, she found herself drawn toward something older, more intuitive — the art of shaping molten glass with flame. Self-taught from the very beginning, she began crafting small, intimate works: pieces mobile enough to travel the world, yet expressive enough to carry the weight of a moment.

For Neval, each piece is a kind of language — a way of capturing a fleeting emotion, a perspective, a fragment of the present. Her inspiration has always been to create not just objects, but reflections — of herself, of the world around her, of what cannot quite be said in words.

Glass, she has learned, is endlessly generous. Every technique opens a new door, every flame reveals something unexpected. The learning never ends — and for that, she is deeply grateful.
